You may have met our little buddy Brandon several months ago when we granted him a wish for a IPOD touch. This sweet boy has suffered so much loss and pain in his short life. Yet, he continues to exude strength and love. Brandon lost his father a couple years ago to illness. As if that wasn't enough agony for one little boy, not long ago, Brandon and his uncle went for a motorcycle ride which ended in a violent crash that took the life of Brandon's beloved uncle and nearly killed Brandon too. For months, this young man has endured surgery after surgery, painful procedures, hospital stays and never ending testing. Our buddy has a long road to recovery ahead of him and we will be with him every step of the way.
We recently received a wish from Brandon's sister who asked for a couple of items that are too expensive for her mom to afford given the enormous medical bills she is faced with from Brandon's accident. These items are things Brandon is wishing for for Christmas and his sister really wanted him to have them.
If you think we at Bianca's Kids could let Christmas go by with our number 1 warrior NOT getting exactly what he wants, you don't know us well.
Those items were ordered and delivered to Brandon's doorstep by December 18th.
We received a wish for items for these two beautiful sisters who give back to their community in various ways including dancing to raise money for children in need and assisting in collecting/organizing packages for our troops overseas. After reading of their volunteer work and considered other factors they have had to deal with this past year, we agreed, the twins deserved a little "getting back".
We have purchased a bunch of items on their xmas list and are delivering them to mom. Merry Christmas girls! keep up the great work.
Dear Bianca's Kids:
I live near a beautiful home that always had a bunch children playing outside. What I didn't know for many years is that it is not a regular home but an emergency shelter for kids.
Last year, I saw a bunch of kids playing basketball out back on Christmas Day while I was leaving to go to my grandchildren's house for a great Christmas family gathering. My heart broke thinking of those poor kids having to spend Xmas in a shelter. If there is anything you could do to take those children out or occupy them on Christmas Day, I would be eternally grateful. Its called the Together Youth Shelter in Glassboro, New Jersey.
That is MY Christmas Wish.
On Christmas Eve 2013 Bianca’s Kids dropped off a delivery of goodies, Christmas movies, gingerbread house sets, candy, popcorn and gifts for each child at the shelter. On Christmas Day, we arranged for EVERY child at the Shelter to be taken to a Christmas movie via limousine. Upon their return, they were met with a traditional Italian Christmas Dinner.
Two adorable teens suffered one horrific trauma. They lost their sister & best friend to murder. This is a pain no one should carry much less two little girls.
As time goes on the pain continues for them yet these two smile and continue to be the closest of friends. They been through so much. So, we asked. "What will it be ladies? What can Bianca’s Kids do to put a smile on your faces this Christmas?” They wanted one thing. TICKETS TO JINGLE BALL 2013!!!!!!
WISH GRANTED! The girls received 3 box seat tickets to Jingle Ball in December 2013. Here is a picture of them at the concert. Think they enjoyed their wish?
Grandparents are supposed to enjoy their golden years right? Well for more and more grandparents raising their grandchildren has become a reality due to one sad circumstance or another. In December, 2013, the president of our organization was at her son’s football game when another mom by the name of Lori told her a story of a struggling grandmother who was making the ultimate sacrifice by raising her grandchildren. Lori explained that this loving grandma was struggling financially. At the time of this conversation, Lori did not know that Debbie was the president of a nonprofit focused on helping children/families in need.
Debbie asked Lori how this grandmother she knew would afford Christmas for her grandchildren. Lori advised that she couldn’t. That it was so incredibly difficult for this grandma to even feed the children that Christmas gifts were simply not a possibility.
The moral of this story? When you make the ultimate sacrifice for the children of another, the universe has its way of paying you back for that favor.
WISH GRANTED! Grandma received a $200 gift card from Bianca's Kids to help her shop for grandchildren.
Dear Bianca’s Kids:
I am looking for help for my family, I am employed by the state in a group home, but have been out of work since I was involved in a hit in run accident January coming home from work.
I am a full time college student and my husband works as a roofer, under 40 hours a week, and soon he will be on unemployment for most of the winter. I am under a doctor’s care for injuries sustained. We struggled to begin with, but since my accident it has only become worse.
My son is 17 and my daughters are 14, 12, and 7. If you know any information that could help with Christmas gifts for my children I would appreciate it.
Jennifer received a $200 gift card from Bianca's Kids.
Dear Bianca's Kids,
I saw other Christmas wishes being granted and thought maybe you could help. My name is Jeanette. I recently moved from new jersey to las vegas, Nevada to take a job as an autism teacher. I am a single mom and with Christmas around the corner I am truly stressing as my van is no longer safe to drive because it needs new brakes and the registration is expired. I do not have the money to take public transportation so I have been walking everywhere with my son. Money is tight and I was able to buy him a winter jacket however he lost it in the store and the manager decided it was ok for another person to take it home with them. We left our winter clothes in new jersey as I was told it would not be that cold. I am writing you asking to help grant my sons Christmas wish, warmer clothes for him and possibly a coat for me and possibly some of the Christmas toy he has been asking santa for. He is only 3 and has been through so much that I want this Christmas to be special for him. Thank you for all you do.

Dear Bianca's Kids,
I am making a Christmas wish for my deserving neighbor. My neighbor/friend is always doing her best to deal with a horrific situation. She has had to endure the antics of an abusive husband/father for far too long and has finally been able to set herself free of him. I am so happy and proud of my friend. She would never ask for help but I have had to feed her children on more than one occasion and it breaks my heart. There is no planned Christmas for her two beautiful children as they can barely eat these days. Needless to say she is not receiving any child support from her husband. My wish is for a gift card to Shoprite to fill her fridge for Thanksgiving for her and her children and to hopefully, get a couple gifts for these traumatized kids. This would not only begin to heal my friends heart but will remind her that although she has been surrounded by hate for so many years, there is still so much to look forward to in this world.
MLT (name redacted by Bianca's Kids to provide confidentiality)
MLT, like they say "it takes a village" and you are part of the village that is caring for this family. Thank you for Loving Thy Neighbor. Your wish is granted! This family received a $100 ShopRite gift card to pack their fridge for Thanksgiving along with a $200 Wal-Mart gift card to help mom shop for her children.
My name is Jennifer and I am writing in hopes that you may be able to fill a Christmas wish for my cousin this Christmas. My cousin, **********, is three and a half years old and is being raised by my grandmom. Both of them have big, big hearts. My grandmom has taken care of ****** since she was a baby because my aunt & uncle have never been 100% focused on their child. In the summer, my grandmom makes sure ******* has a pool and takes her swimming, she gives her snacks before bed, they watch movies together, they attend church together, and in short, ******* loves her mom mom very much. Unfortunately this year, my grandmom who is 63 and still working, is having trouble making ends meet and because *******'s parents can't seem to make better decisions, it is their daughter who probably won't have a real Christmas this year.
I know my grandmom is too ashamed to ask for any help, though she is always giving and giving so I was hoping that this year, you might be able to give ********* a couple of things that she is asking Santa Claus for. She loves Doc McStuffins, anything princess, and she loves getting dressed up. Recently I visited her for dinner, and she was wearing a shirt that I bought for her when she was 2 years old, and now, although she is tiny, she is definitely too big for it, and so most importantly, I was hoping maybe we could get her some 3t and 4t clothing for this winter.
A huge shipment was sent to grandmom with gifts for grandbaby.
