Dear Bianca's Kids,
My friend is poor and has to take public transportation everywhere. She does not have a good winter coat to keep her warm. She freezes walking to and from the bus to get to her little job. She never asks for help but when I see her walking, hands frozen, my heart breaks. She's the sweetest person in the world and I'm wishing for a winter coat for Christmas for her. Can u do that? Thanks, Cindy No Cindy I'm sorry we can't do a winter coat. But we CAN do a winter coat, a fall coat, 3 sweaters, 2 hats, 2 scarves, a pair of fuzzy socks, a pair winter PJs & a pair a gloves! WISH GRANTED! Your friends items are being delivered to her today.

Dear Bianca's Kids,
I'm a single dad who buried a child. The pain associated with my child's death is unmeasurable on me and my remaining children. There is also the unspoken enormous financial burden associated with dying that has left me struggling to provide my surviving children a Christmas. My son, a sweet kid who asks for little, has been asking me for a portable basketball hoop for our driveway for 2 yrs now. This will be the second Xmas that comes and goes without this gift as I cannot afford one for him. I can handle the rest of Xmas gifts for him and my children but this one I can't do AGAIN. My wish is for my son, who has suffered the unthinkable, to get his Christmas wish of a basketball hoop this year. It would be so great for him to be able to invite his friend to play here instead of always having to go to a friends' to play the game he loves, b-ball. It's so hard to ask for help but I'd rather swallow my pride than see him disappointed again this Christmas. He has been through enough in his young life. Thank you, A loving dad Dear loving dad, your right! Your son has been through enough. Wish granted! One professional size b-ball hoop is being delivered to your home. As a fierce & tireless advocate of the homeless, the needy, Bianca's Kids and just about anyone in need, Joan Aponte is exactly the type of person we at Bianca's Kids like to feature and extend our appreciation to when given the opportunity.
Joan's acts of kindness for those in need are never-ending and she has supported Bianca's Kids for years. So, when Joan's sister Chris wrote us to say that Joan would love to meet the star of VH1's Mobwive's series-Big Ang, we KNEW we had to make it happen. This wish we had to grant. Finally, we have found a way to thank Joan for all the kindest she has and continues to show to us and everyone else whose lives she touches. On March 29, 2014, Joan got herself dolled up and attended a private dinner with one of her favorite reality starts Big Ang thanks to Bianca's Kids. ![]() 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale went missing and was found murdered on October 22, 2012 in small town of Clayton, New Jersey. This tragic event happened in small town America. An otherwise loving community was rocked to its core. Autumn is special to many including Bianca's Kids. So we posed a question to her father - Anthony Pasquale. "If we could grant you one wish, what would it be?" His response? "I only have one wish. Nothing would make me happier than to have the park Autumn frequented & loved; a place where she rode her bike, her skateboard and was a cheerleader, named after her. WISH GRANTED! - On the one year anniversary of Autumn Pasquale's death, the park she loved so much was renamed "Autumn Pasquale Memorial Park" thanks to Bianca's Kids. The new park sign shown above which reflects Autumn's name was donated by Bianca's Kids. Photoed are various BK board members along with the Mayor of Clayton and our wish maker, Autumn's father - Anthony Pasquale. One of our most memorable wish grantings ever. |
