We received a wish from a 17-year-old girl named Tiffany. Tiffany was gravely ill and battling brain cancer. While Tiff's friends were concerned with which color nail polish to wear to prom, she was dealing with the question as to if she would survive long enough to see prom night.
Sick or not, prom is a right of passage. Tiffany's wish was to feel beautiful & look glamorous at prom. So, we obliged. From make up to clothing to wig, shoes and a wheelchair accessible transportation, In May, 2014, Bianca's Kids granted Tiffany's wish. It was a night to remember for all involved. Take a look at the before/after pics!!! Update: Sadly, Tiffany passed away just a couple weeks after her prom night.

The Mighty Gals are a group of girls who are connected through an after school program at Evergreen Elementary School in Woodbury, NJ. This after school program encourages fighting through adversity, acedemics and leadership.
We met this amazing group of girls when our foundation president spoke to them on the subject of turning tragedy into triumph. We fell in the love with the girls and promised that if they did well in school, we would be back at the end of the year to grant a wish for them. We kept good on our promise. In late May, 2014, we visited the Mighty Gals to tell them we were sending their entire class on a class trip to Sahara Sam's (an indoor water park the girls wished visit). The room erupted in applause and laughter. Mission accomplished! |
