This sweet angel is one of the kindergarten students from today’s wish granting at Chews Elementary. He lost his beloved teacher to a car accident 2 weeks ago. As puppies/dogs are proven to help with grief, we decided to give every student in the late Mrs. Barrett’s class a “runt” puppy from the “pound.” These are stuffed doggies the children have to adopt, name, care for etc. This little guy loves his puppy and has clearly made a new friend.
Our ️hearts are full.
Special thanks to his loving mommy for sending us this pic.
We have just returned from dropping off a special something from Bianca’s Kids for every one of Mrs. Barrett’s students. We realize that the teachers, students, parents and administration of Chews Elementary are a tight knit family who have been impacted by an incredible loss. Together, they are working hard to help one another through their grief and to rally around Mrs. Barrett’s students.
We are humbled and honored that this school family has allowed us to be apart of them during this emotional time and are so happy that they’ll be distributing our gifts to their precious students.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with all who knew and loved Michelle Barrett.
We are so thankful to have been able to make another truck-full donation of toys, gifts and a bike to Jerry Young and Terry Gould for the annual Christmas toy giveaway in Bridgeton, NJ. These amazing men work so hard for children and teens in impoverished areas. Incredible role models for kids in their community.
A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO KEVIN & CHRIS MCCOOL OF THE COWBOYS & ANGELS (an organization they established in memory of the son). This beautiful couple honor their son by hosting an Xmas party each year where their friends bring toys, gifts, bikes to donate to children in need.
Luckily Mr. McCool found us 3 years ago and made us the beneficiaries of their gift-giving generosity. We are forever grateful!!
A MILLION THANKS to our friends at Last Tangle Salon in Williamstown, NJ for making Christmas wishes come true for a few more hundred kids this year. This is the 9th year that the “little salon with a big heart” has sponsored hundreds of our foster children. Over the years, Thousands of foster kids have found what they wanted under the tree on Christmas morning thanks to the staff and clients of Last Tangle Williamstown NJ salon.
We are forever grateful to all of you. Thanks for supporting our mission.
Homeless kids need electronic tablets too. So, we bought tablets for every homeless child in our district ages 13 and up. Homeless kids too need to access the internet to research for their homework & projects, to email their teachers and to connect with friends. But where would they get money for tablets? From us! We figured this is a perfect addition to their Christmas gift bags.
We are preparing amazing & age appropriate gift bags for all 46 homeless kids in the Monroe Twp NJ school district as one of our Christmas wishes for 2018.
Your donation dollars at work!
