WISH GRANTED FOR LITTLE BOY WITH CEREBRAL PALSY. HIS WISH IS SOMETHING THE AVERAGE CHILD TAKES FOR GRANTED. MEET CHARLES.
Dear Bianca’s Kids,
My son is not fully capable of really asking for a wish, he doesn’t talk a lot but is in need of things that would make him more comfortable. He has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, asthma and so many other conditions, he is incontinent and we struggle to find diapers for him, which is somewhat financial related but mostly just that his body type is so different that the smallest adult diapers are too large but the pull ups he is using do not hold enough since he’s tube fed. It would be amazing to find a way to cloth diaper him to decrease the number of times he’s changed throughout the day because his pull ups leak every single time, keeping him dry (he doesn’t mentally register being embarrassed yet but he hates changing his clothes, keeping him on task at school and getting more done in therapy is just a fantastic wish for us. The company who sells cloth diapers in hi s size charges about $20 per diaper and he needs at least 8 to get through the day.
This wish for such a basic need is an honor to grant for you. We are sending you a check for $500 to buy as many cloth diapers as Charles needs.
