Here is the email we received:
Hi there. My son has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy and even though he is nonverbal we have an unspoken communication. I just know ...a wish that would tickle him fancy. He is 6 and non-ambulatory. He LOVES superman and has totally outgrown Mickey Mouse. Mickey actually makes him cry his eyes, out he's so sick of him. Well his entire room is decorated in Mickey. I know he would love to go into his room and see a few superman items (lamp, floor rug, bubble lamp, poster and bedding.) I've collected small superman items and someone made him a superman fleece blanket but still Mickey and Jake are everywhere and he's a little man now.
I wanted to add I am a single mother who cannot work because my son requires my 24/7 care and a I have a 3 yr old daughter too! Conlan recently lost all his speech, lost his ability to focus his eyes, lost all potty training and regresses in so many more ways. Doctors have no answers... he also is seizure prone, has NEC (small intestine died and was removed), PVL (Cysts on brain,) sleep apnea and so many more diagnosis.
Thank you dearly, Chryssy
Bianca's Kids gifted Conlan with a plethera of new bedroom items to change Conlan's bedroom from Mickey to Superman. Conlan is now be surrounded by what he loves and also has a couple of fun sensory items for his precious eyes to enjoy.
