Here is the wish request we received for 4-yaer-old Kayden Dourney who was battling Burkette's Lymphoma:
Hello Bianca’s Kids, my name is Lisa, I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do! Im here to talk about a friend of mine, Kenny Dorney. He is a local from Franklinville and was just recently hit with his 4 Yr old being diagnosed with Burketts Lymphoma. Such a sad thing for a 4 Yr old and his family to go through. If there is anything that you all can do for Kayden to bring a smile to his face, that would make their day. He is on Facebook as they have a page for his son called Team Kayden.
I would love for Kayden to get the chance to go to the Museum of Natural Science in Philadelphia. He is also a huge fan of Spider-Man. Anything you could do would be greatly appreciated.
On April 25, 2014, Kayden received the surprise of his life. Bianca's Kids granted his wish and Spiderman himself appaered at Kayden's house to provide him a plethora of Spiderman toys and gifts and to play with Kayden. He also received VIP passes to the Museaum of Natural Sciences for him and his family to enjoy & be treated like royalty.
Felicia wrote us with a wish for her cousin Regina's son - Joel. Felicia explained that both Regina and Joel had been through a lot. She advised that Joel was a huge Philadelphia 76ers fan and that he would love to go a game. Joel had never experienced a live basketball game and this would be his wish. As this little guy was so deserving a wish, we worked a little BK magic and on April 14, 2014, at the season's final game, Joel was sitting court side at the 76ers game! Additionally the 76ers invited Joel to watch their private pregame warmup, gifted him with a autographed jersey, t-shirt, a bobble head and signed photo from the team. To say Joel was happy is an understatement. But ,he wasn't as happy as we were to grant his wish.
