BREAKING BK NEWS - BIANCA’S KIDS TO HONOR KIDS/TEENS WHO TAKE A STAND AGAINST BULLYING WITH THE “KENNY SUTTNER AWARD.”
In an effort to inspire our youth to combat the epidemic that is bullying, BK will be giving away Kenny Suttner Award certificates, featuring their stories on our social media pages and giving away gift cards to kids and teens who TAKE A STAND against bullying. We cannot lose anymore of our previous children to suicide as a result of bullying.
WHO IS KENNY SUTTNER?
Kenny was a beautiful and kind 17 yr old boy. Such a gentle soul he was known as the “baby whisperer.” Kenny was tortured by bullies at school and at work. Ultimately, he committed suicide to escape his pain.
In a groundbreaking case that ignited the national conversation on bullying, a Missouri coroner's jury found in January 2017 that Kenneth Suttner's suicide resulted from harassment at work and school. Thereafter 17-year-old Kenny's former supervisor was arrested, booked and charged with manslaughter.
HOW CAN A CHILD YOU KNOW WIN THE KENNY SUTTNER AWARD?
If a Child you know (ages 0-18) takes a direct stand to stop a bullying situation, email Debbie@biancaskids.org for the appropriate form.
